NATO chickened out: “He called me from a shelter” - Latvia declared itself... a superpower - Russia: Run, boys

NATO chickened out: “He called me from a shelter” - Latvia declared itself... a superpower - Russia: Run, boys
From the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine it is shown that up to 18,000 deserters leave the country’s army every month, that is 600 per day or 25 soldiers every hour - in Ukraine, what is called desertion is... surrender and destruction.

Jens Stoltenberg, while he was Secretary General of NATO, acted tough and ruthless... but, as usual, truths are told when one leaves office.

Meanwhile, a new superpower has been born… Latvia, with a professional army of 38,000 soldiers, yet it declared itself a superpower. Literally, the cold air must have affected the minds of the Latvians.
Russia, however, is mocking the West and Ukraine... The revelations that desertions have reached 400,000 in total are not shocking, since young Ukrainians simply do not want to fight for the corrupt Zelensky.
Russia’s message: “Run, boys.”

No World War III for Ukraine

The former Secretary General of NATO and Minister of Finance of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, stated in an interview with the Sunday Times that the North Atlantic Alliance will not start a Third World War with Russia for Ukraine.

“He called me from a shelter in Kyiv”

Jens Stoltenberg said that during a conversation with Ukrainian President Zelensky in February 2022, he explained that imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine was impossible, as it would lead to direct military confrontation with Russia.
“He called me from a shelter in Kyiv, near which there were Russian tanks, and Zelensky told me:
‘I understand that you will not send NATO ground troops, although I disagree.
But please close the airspace.
Do not allow Russian planes, drones, and helicopters to fly over us and attack us,’” said Jens Stoltenberg.

NATO got scared

Former Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that introducing a no-fly zone would mean the need to destroy Russian air defense systems deployed in Belarus and on Russian territory.
“And if a Russian airplane or helicopter appears in the air, we would have to shoot it down, and then we would find ourselves in a total war between NATO and Russia.
And we do not want to do that.
As Biden (former U.S. President) said, who was then the President of the United States, we will not risk a Third World War for the sake of Ukraine,” said the former Secretary General of NATO.

The U.S. turning into a war economy

On November 8, 2025, the U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, compared the current global situation with 1939.
He said that in order to avoid war, Americans must prepare now, emphasizing that the American economy is transitioning into a war economy.

Target: Russian Kaliningrad

On November 3, 2025, the French media outlet AgoraVox reported that a potential naval blockade of Kaliningrad by NATO could lead to World War III.
According to AgoraVox, Kaliningrad could become the epicenter of a new missile crisis.
Furthermore, as AgoraVox notes, given the return of the Cold War between Russia and the United States and the U.S. withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, “a third world war cannot be ruled out.”
However, U.S. President Trump stated that the United States does not intend to start a war.

Latvia declared itself a superpower

The Minister of Defense of Latvia declared Latvia a superpower in unmanned aircraft after the inauguration of the “House of Drones” training center.
He wrote about it on his Facebook page.
Latvia proves that we are a superpower in unmanned aircraft,” he wrote.
The center will host operator training and testing of new drone models.

They want lots of drones

The Secretary General of NATO, Rutte, stated that the European Union and NATO cooperate very effectively in the field of UAV production.
He noted that the Alliance is “good at complex issues” such as standardization and military matters.
On September 10, 2025, the European Commission announced its intention to create a “drone wall” along the eastern borders of the EU after an alleged violation of Polish airspace that occurred on the night of September 10.

The Drone Wall

The Drone Wall project is a joint initiative of Germany, Poland, Finland, and the Baltic countries, aiming to develop a multilayered surveillance equipment system and automated defense systems against UAVs along the entire border with Russia, including Ukraine.

Russia commented on record desertions in the Ukrainian Armed Forces – “Run, boys!”

The spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zakharova, responded to reports of record desertions in the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
“I would describe this process with two words, a comma, and an exclamation mark: ‘Run, boys!’” said the spokeswoman of the Russian diplomatic department.

Ukrainians reveal shocking data

On November 7, 2025, former Member of Parliament and UAV company commander, Ihor Lutsenko, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded a record number of military personnel who deserted in October 2025.
According to him, 21,600 individuals left the army. He clarified that these are only official figures.
Official data from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine show that up to 18,000 deserters leave the country’s army each month. That is 600 per day or 25 soldiers every hour in Ukraine desert.
Since February 2022, more than 230,000 criminal cases have been initiated in Ukraine for unauthorized desertion from military units.
