Kyiv faces imminent threat of 1,400 Russian missiles as Moscow pivots to drone warfare over mobilization
Shock plan for a barrage on Kyiv with 1,400 ballistics reveals Bild, predicts catastrophe due to the absence of Patriot from the Ukrainian capital.

Kyiv finds itself on highest alert after a leak in German media about a Russian pounding on Kyiv with 1,400 ballistic missiles, during the period in which the Ukrainian air defenses remain weak due to the lack of Patriot, as the Ukrainian outlet Strana.ua reports on 10/7.

Indeed, as the correspondent of Bild, Julian Röpke, emphasizes, the Russian military-industrial enterprises will have the time to manufacture approximately 1,400 ballistic missiles, until Kyiv manages to create its own production line for interceptor missiles of the Patriot air defense system, under an American license.

And this, because, according to expert estimates, this process may require up to two years to complete.

In the same period, Moscow will be in a position to manufacture up to 700 Iskander M annually, as the correspondent of the German publication emphasizes.

At the same time, the deputy of the Russian State Duma, Andrei Kolesnik, hastens to deny the scenarios about a mass mobilization in the Russian army, underlining that Moscow possesses a stronger weapon, which it can drop on the fronts of Ukraine and which will emerge in the area of drones.

"Wars must be conducted with weapons and not with people", the parliamentarian emphasizes characteristically, clarifying that, in contrast to the Zelensky regime, Russia invests in technological superiority and in modern weapons systems, instead of the increase of its human resources.

Chills in Ukraine: The Russians will sweep Kyiv with 1,400 ballistics

This estimation was formulated by the German military analyst Julian Röpke in his interview, citing evaluations of experts in the sector of the defense industry.

Röpke referred to the example of Germany, which has been working for about a year on the organization of corresponding production, however, according to him, yet another year will be needed until the first products are delivered.

"The Russians manufacture 700 Iskander annually. they will level Kyiv"

"Even just the negotiation of these contracts, the resolution of intellectual property issues and all the remaining processes require months. It is a long process. Russia may have the capability to produce approximately 1,400 Iskander missiles before Ukraine launches its own first Patriot interceptor missiles. These are not my data, but expert estimations.

They argue that Russia produces approximately 700 Iskander missiles annually," stated Röpke.

It is reminded that the president of the United States Donald Trump announced, on the sidelines of the NATO summit, that Washington may grant to Ukraine a license for the production of Patriot interceptor missiles.

However, the head of the White House did not clarify when this agreement could be implemented nor at what stage the negotiations for the transfer of the relevant know-how find themselves.

At the same time, experts who spoke to Bloomberg estimated that the start of the production will require years, as the creation of the necessary infrastructure, the transfer of technology and the organization of the supply chain constitute complex and time-consuming processes.

"False the reports of Pavel for mobilization in Russia. we possess a stronger weapon"

Russia invests in technological superiority and in modern weapons systems, instead of the increase of its human resources, emphasized on his part Andrei Kolesnik, member of the Defense Committee of the State Duma.

In his interview with Pravda.Ru, the Russian deputy rejected the rumors about a new wave of mobilization, characterizing such information as a "tool of the information war of Western politicians".

Earlier, international media outlets had transmitted information regarding an allegedly inevitable mobilization of reservists in Russia.

It is pointed out that the president of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, had argued that a decision for taking mobilization measures could be taken after the parliamentary elections in Russia.

At the same time, he mentioned that the involved sides possess approximately two months for the resumption of dialogue, before "the window of diplomacy closes".

However, analysts point out that European unity has begun to present cracks, amid excessively high expectations regarding the evolution of the situation on the front of the war.

According to Kolesnik, the statements of the Czech president constitute an attempt to destabilize the internal situation in Russia.

The Russian deputy argued that Prague should have focused on its own economic problems, which, as he mentioned, have deteriorated among others due to the reduction of tourist traffic from Russia.

We proceed to modernization of drones. which will surprise the Ukrainians

The same argued that such types of media attacks frequently follow specific patterns and that similar practices have been used repeatedly in the past with the goal of causing internal disturbances.

"The Czech president, known for his intensely anti-Russian positions, prefers to proceed to yet another round of statements against Russia instead of dealing with the internal problems of his country. It is obvious that he tries to destabilize the internal political situation.

However, it does not befit a president to resort to such types of statements. It would be much more useful to face real issues, such as the situation with Russian tourists. Their absence from Karlovy Vary severely hits the local economy and causes significant losses to the budget of the Czech Republic," stated Koleshnik.

The Russian deputy added that modern military operations do not require a mass deployment of troops, but high effectiveness of the means used.

As he mentioned, this presupposes an extensive modernization of equipment, based on the experience of the Russian air defense forces.

According to him, one of the basic sectors of development of the Russian army constitutes now the front of unmanned systems, drones, which changes the logic of conducting military operations.

"Wars are made with weapons, not with people"

"We provide weapons systems and we continuously develop new types of equipment under the guidance and control of the leadership of the country.

We participate in military operations and our country has always believed that wars must be conducted with weapons and not with people.

Today the main emphasis is given to modern weapons systems, of which we possess significant quantities, while these are continuously improved based on the experience gained during the special military operation. I have not heard that any mobilization is being planned," noted Kolesnik.

The Russian deputy concluded that, at the present phase, the issue of mobilization does not find itself on the agenda and that any relevant discussion constitutes, as he argued, a product of speculations of Western officials, who seek to spread rumors instead of facing the internal problems of their own countries.
