Farmers have set up blockades across Greece, there is tension on the roads, mobilizations and confrontation with the police authorities who in most cases intervene openly.
What is the farmers’ demand?
The farmers for the most part present the following argument, bring back the stolen money, give the compensations and subsidies. However, let us be realistic. We have a rotten ND and former ND ministers who are con artists involved in the OPEKEPE scandal without any doubt and we also have part of the Greek farmers in Crete, Thessaly and other places who set up the big scheme in cooperation with ministers and MPs, they stole the European funds, in other words we have a clear criminal organization because there is clearly financial intent and financial benefit. There is no doubt that ND maintains this rotten situation because most farmers supported ND. The inquiry committee for the OPEKEPE case is coming to reveal certain bitter truths.
1) Key ministers of the Mitsotakis government, who are involved with OPEKEPE, are common con artists, rotten, corrupt, but they have immunity and provoke society. Whoever votes for them, and we refer to those involved in the OPEKEPE scandal, is either a con artist or just as corrupt as they are.

There is a citizen who has won 6,000 times, yes you read correctly. There is one difference, that all of Greece is filled with criminal organizations of farmers and livestock breeders.

4) Obviously most farmers are not con artists, they are struggling workers, but a significant part of the farmers and especially the trade unionist farmers are part of a shameful criminal organization and if you look at who leads the local trade union organizations, what a coincidence, officials of ND and PASOK. There is great corruption in society, many say the fish rots from the head but in the end the body, society, also rots from scandals and corruption.
5) OPEKEPE and the Gargalakos system cannot continue to exist, they are clearly part of the problem, the big scam that is shaking all of Greece. OPEKEPE has gone bankrupt at all levels, a new organization is needed with new administration and with very strict mechanisms and certainly many OPEKEPE officials must end up in prison, they are part of the criminal organization.
6) The farmers have risen up because they did not receive money now and they are right, especially the livestock breeders who have been destroyed due to diseases, but many remained silent when they saw others stealing the community funds and they also tried to get into the scheme.
7) It is obvious that Greece, a purely agricultural economy, is in incredible decay, the livestock capital exists only on paper and Greek agricultural products are collapsing in prices and being marginalized. Imported products flood the market and the rotten ND as government has no plan on how to revive the primary sector. Greece should not be importing a single product, they are deliberately killing the primary sector, they want us to be a dependent economy, a pawn of interests, and on these issues the farmers did not speak.

All this abscess must burst, there cannot be social prosperity when the few con artists steal and the many simply watch in despair how they were duped and did not steal as well. The country has no compass anymore. Political and ideological leader of the fraud in the OPEKEPE scandal is clearly the government, the scandal was revealed, it will surely be covered up but now we know and we know a lot, knowledge is power and strong is whoever possesses it.
