Although the operation to capture Venezuela’s president Nicolás Maduro in January 2026 had begun months earlier and revealed that the total disintegration of a regime starts from within, since corruption became the Kerkaporta that allowed United States forces to enter comfortably all the way to the presidential palace, nevertheless, at the critical moment, the United States used an extremely powerful, mysterious weapon that forced his soldier guards to fall to their knees from weakness.
The shocking testimony of a Venezuelan guard
In a shocking interview with the American newspaper New York Post, a guard described how American forces eliminated hundreds of fighters without losing a single soldier, using technology unlike anything he had ever seen or heard of.
“We were on guard duty, but suddenly all our radar systems were disabled without any explanation,” the guard said.
“The next thing we saw was drones, many drones, flying over our positions.
We did not know how to react.”
A few moments later, several helicopters appeared, “just eight,” according to him, disembarking about 20 American soldiers in the area.
But these few men, as he said, were armed with something far more powerful than weapons.
“They were technologically very advanced,” the guard recalls.
“They looked like nothing we had fought in the past.”
What followed, he said, was not a battle, but a massacre.
“We were hundreds, but we had no hope,” he said.
“They were firing with such precision and speed that it felt like every soldier was firing 300 bullets per minute.”
Then came the weapon that still haunts him
“At some point, they fired something, I do not know how to describe it,” he said.
“It was like a very intense sound wave.
Suddenly I felt my head exploding from the inside.”
The effects were immediate and horrific.
“We all started bleeding from the nose,” he said.
“Some were vomiting blood.
We fell to the ground, unable to move.
We could not even stand upright after that sound weapon, or whatever it was.”
The White House did not immediately respond to a question about whether the sharing of the post by Karoline Leavitt, with the caption “Stop whatever you are doing and read this,” meant that the government was confirming the credibility of the testimony.
According to the country’s Ministry of the Interior, approximately 100 members of Venezuela’s security forces were killed in the 3 January attack.

The defenders were helpless as the small American unit eliminated them, the guard said.
“These twenty men, without a single loss, killed hundreds of us.
We had no way to compete with their technology.
I swear, I have never seen anything like this before.”
The United States military has possessed directed energy weapons, which neutralize targets using focused energy such as microwaves or laser beams, for years, but this may be the first time they have been used in combat by the United States, a former American intelligence source told the Post.

The guard said the raid has already caused tremors throughout Latin America, especially after President Donald Trump recently warned that Mexico is now “on the list.”
“Everyone is already talking about it,” he said.
“What happened here will change many things, not only in Venezuela, but throughout the entire region.”
Corruption as the “Kerkaporta” to enter Caracas
While the technological superiority of the United States was the “surgical instrument” of the operation, corruption was what left Venezuela’s forces unprepared and disorganized.
The testimony about the radars that “went dark” and the slaughter of hundreds by just 20 men underscores the complete collapse of an army that, instead of training, was consumed by illegal dealings.
Thus, the fall did not come through military confrontation on that fateful night, but through the surgical exploitation of the corruption that sustained the system and had begun months earlier.
Maduro’s trap was built on three points
1) The upper echelons of Venezuela’s military did not react, because the generals had been transformed into executives of illegal businesses, gold, drugs, oil.
The CIA neutralized them by showing them evidence that it “knew” their illegal dealings, for example their offshore accounts, forcing them to choose their own “comfort” or their leader.
2) A central objective was control of 60 billion dollars in cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, USDT, through which the regime laundered money and bypassed sanctions.
3) China and the “allies” remained silent, proving that international relations are now purely investment driven and not ideological.
Thus, Venezuela’s leader found himself trapped between economic collapse and his own corrupt officers, so that arrest by the United States became a safer “emergency exit” than assassination by his own associates.
